Midwest Vespa Days 2024

Registration is now live! Join us for a our regional Amerivespa event, Midwest Vespa Days, September 26-29 in St. Louis, Missouri! This event will be hosted with the support of Vespa Club of America and replacing the annual Missouri Loves Company rally in 2024.

The registration fee is $50 and gets you the following:

  • Admission to venues, events, and rides (unless otherwise noted)
  • Rally patch, sticker, button, and swag bag
  • Rally T-shirt
  • One raffle ticket (more can be purchased on-site)
  • Saturday evening reception (appetizers)

All scooter makes and models are welcome! In keeping with the spirit of Amerivespa and Missouri Loves Company, this event is open to all scooters, so bring what you got and get ready to ride! We hope to have a variety of rides so there will be something for you whether you’ve got a 49cc or a 500cc.

Vespa Club of Greater St. Louis, 30 Days Scooter Gang, and St. Charles Scooter Club are excited to show off our city this September, so check out our event schedule below and register via the link by August 31 to guarantee the official event t-shirt in your rally pack. We can’t wait to see you in September!

T-shirt and rally pack pickup will be at the Registration/Check-In table on the 4th Floor of the River City Casino Hotel parking garage. Rally packs not claimed will not be refunded. See schedule for times.

To guarantee a T-shirt, you must have registered by 8/31/24. Extra shirts will be on sale at the registration table for $10, Extra patches will be $5 (while supplies last).

REGISTRATION IS NON-REFUNDABLE. If the event is cancelled, shirt/patch/etc. will be shipped to the address you provided us.

Scooter parking for the weekend is in the parking garage on the 4th level. Registration will be here as well. Trailer parking is in the South parking lots of the hotel.

Thursday September 26th
Early afternoon:
Roll into town and check into River City Casino and Hotel. Meet friends new and old at the Casino. Enjoy a few games or maybe a meal at one of the casino’s many restaurants!

5:00 PM – Evening Meet-n-Greet: Perennial Artisan Ales (8125 Michigan Ave, St. Louis, MO 63111)
Low-key block-party style get-together to kick off the Rally weekend. Hungry? Enjoy some Peruvian inspired sandwiches from Sanguchitos on-site at Perennial!

7:30 PM – Evening Ride:
This ride leaves from the Meet ‘n Greet at Perennial.
We’ll ride downtown, past the Gateway Arch, with a quick detour over to the “East Side”. We’ll make a stop at the Mississippi River Overlook (185 W Trendley Ave, East St Louis, IL 63102) to take in the St. Louis skyline.

9:00 PM – Go big or go home
The night ride ends at the River City Casino to try and win it big!

Friday September 27th
8-10 AM – Registration check-in at the hotel
Rally bag pick-up, registration sign-in, and raffle ticket sales on the 4th Floor of the Parking Garage. Breakfast can be had at the hotel, at Riverside Diner (8129 Reilly Ave, 63111), or at the location of your choosing.

9:30 AM – Ozark Plateau Foothills Ride
Stands up at 10:00 AM. A quick jaunt through the southern suburbs will put us in rural Jefferson County. We’ll ride some of the area’s best scenic twisties as we explore the foothills of the Ozark Plateau. Ride final destination is the Sandy Creek Covered Bridge State Historic Site. The route is 65 miles and 3 hours long and includes a stop at a winery for riders to buy lunch and returns to River City Casino. Group photo at the bridge (Maintain speeds of 50 mph)

10:00 AM Photo Op Social Ride
Stands up at 10:30 AM. Enjoy the sights and sounds of St. Louis on this leisurely ride full of opportunities for photos and socialization. Checkout St. Louis landmarks and beautiful city murals! Includes a stop at Molly’s for attendees to buy lunch. (Maintain speeds of 30 mph)

4-5:30 PM Registration at the hotel
Rally pack bag pick-up, registration sign-in, and raffle ticket sales on the 4th Floor of the Parking Garage.

Lunch/Dinner at River City Casino
Burgers, noodles, pub fare, Italian, or a top-rated steakhouse, you’ll find what you want at any of the 5 restaurants located inside River City Casino.

6 PM – Respectable “Lights and Sights”
Ride through St. Louis City and the crown jewel of St. Louis, Forest Park, as we head to evening activities. (Maintain speeds of 30 mph)

7 PM – Delmar Loop Evening Activities
Evening activities at the Moonrise Rooftop Lounge (6177 Delmar Blvd, 63112) and Pin-Up Bowl (6191 Delmar Blvd, 63112) in the Delmar Loop business district. The Moonrise Rooftop Lounge is an 8th-floor rooftop bar with great views of the city. Brick City Sound System will be spinning records on the Rooftop. You can also challenge your friends and knock down some pins at the swanky Pin-Up Bowl bowling alley located next door.

Saturday
6:00 AM – Sunrise Ride
This ride leaves from Bellerive Park.
A ride for the early risers! We’ll meet at Bellerive Park before dawn and watch the sun come up over the Mississippi River. Then a short ride to chase the sunrise along the river. KSU at 7 am, destination TBD. (Maintain speeds of 30 mph)

8-10 AM – Registration
Rally bag pick-up & registration sign-in on the 4th Floor of the Parking Garage. Breakfast can be had at the hotel, or at Riverside Diner (8129 Reilly Ave, 63111).

8:30 AM Mississippi River Road & Grafton, IL Ride: Stands up at 9 AM. This day-long ride will take you north of the city into the suburbs and farmlands of St. Louis and beyond. Round trip will be around 130 miles, including 2 ferry rides! Must be able to maintain speeds of 50 mph. We’ll be stopping at Grafton Winery (300 W Main St, Grafton, IL 62037) for attendees to grab lunch on their own.

St Louis City Sightseeing Ride: Stands up at 10:30 AM. This ride is filled with lots of classic architecture and history. From the Gateway Arch and Riverfront to Midtown, from South City to the North Side, from Bellefontaine to the Bevo Mill, we’ll ride our way through St. Louis and its neighborhoods. We’ll include a stop at the Moto Museum to stretch our legs and check out some historic bikes. Route is 40 miles and 3 hours long. (Maintain speeds of 30 mph)

Vintage Ride: Stands up at 11:00 AM. An all-day countryside ride just for vintage and classic scooters. (Maintain speeds of 50 mph)

7 PM – Evening Reception
Awards Ceremony, Raffle, and Dance Party at River City Casino. The evening reception does not include a full dinner so be sure to eat beforehand! Appetizers will be available as well as a cash bar.
8 PM – Awards and Raffle
We’ll announce all our winners and thank all of our sponsors and rally planners. Afterwards, a dance party!

Sunday
11 AM – Chain of Rocks Ride
Stands up at 11:15 AM. One last group ride past the Gateway Arch and then along the Mississippi River to the historic Chain of Rocks Bridge (10820 Riverview Dr, 63137) The bridge used to carry Route 66 (and was featured in the movie Escape from New York!) We’ll stroll over the bridge, which is now a pedestrian path, and view the St. Louis skyline from a different angle.
The ride will end at the St. Louis City Museum (750 N 16th St, 63103), an amazing playground/art installation in a hundred-year-old warehouse where artists have repurposed the pieces of old cities to build miles of tunnels, slides, climbers, bridges, and castles. There are secret passages, grand galleries, magic caves, and a 10-story slide. You must see it to believe it! And it’s not just for kids: enjoy an adult beverage at one of its 3 bars!
